I have an English Springer Spaniel. I really nice rough shooting dog. This fella comes fishing with me from time to time. He is well trained so he will sit when I tell him. These dogs have a serious amount of energy and if you are able to walk them regularly you will be well rewarded with a beautiful dog and great friend. Another dog that I would recommend would be a Labrador. Very nice dog with an excellent temperament and not a busy on the bank side.
