Jimmy,

I should have mentioned this before but I love these quotes.  I have been saving them for a while (not as long as I wished I had) on one Word document.  Thank you for taking the time to share these.  I in turn send them on from time to time to friends making their days more fun.

Subject: [VFB] QUOTE FOR THE DAY

"The best dry flies ride high on the water, supported only by their hackle tips and tail fibers (another help in breaking outline).  Choose those that are tied on hooks of light fine wire and with stiff, vibrant hackles.  Place a fly on a book or flat surface and hold it to eye level.  If the hook touches the surface, the fly is either poorly tied or the hackles and tail fibers fail to meet dry-fly standards."
