And here comes the "lowdated" (un-updated) guy with his stupid questions: I often use a really bad language when doing my dubbing loops so when I read that this "Magic Tool" makes it easier, I obviously react. The batteries in my old magic wand are discharged and dead... and the store that sold it to me was shut down. So I have tried everything from praying to casting spells with no result. The Danville's works great. I also find that it you untwist the UNI thread 6/0 by a few reverse turns, that works great too.  In working with the Magic tool, I find that you can get great results just even using the 8/0 Uni thread but not splitting it and just putting the dubbing formed with the Magic tool in the dubbing loop. Can really see no difference between the split thread and the fine thread. Joyce
