Denny, you didn't offend any of the dozens of people who replied to your request for prayer for your son, saying they'd keep him and the family in their prayers.   The day that requesting a prayer for an ailing person via my friends on the VFB list becomes taboo is the day I resign from the VFB. It made all the difference in the world when my wife Jody was battling breast cancer.  Your post didn't have a thing to do with religion.
