Just dried and stretched Jimi. Tanned would be nice (but more expensive) 
because then you could store it easier. It would roll up. I've recently 
found some pretty cool plastic air tight containers at Walmart that have 
entrance/openings on both ends, with snaps, and they are prolly 4 ft. long 
more or less, by maybe 8 inches deep, and they are on wheels. VERY cool for 
full skins, like that complete Blue/White Eared Pheasent i got in Montana. 
I'm hoping i can get the next Coyote skin in there by just clipping off the 
tail. Might have to take the head or hind ft. off too. They're not much use 
anyway, except for the wiskers.......make great tails for Coffin flies.

Was it just dried and stretched or tanned? We just had a "Major" storm blow
though, Roswell had 3 tornadoes touch down, Artesia, (14 miles to the 
north)
had 2, Carlsbad (16 miles south) had 3), we had over 3 inches of rain in 20
minutes and 50+ MPH winds.
Won't know what all is bad till first light. Lost the power twice, only
leaks are in Amanda's closet and the store room. Roads all through Eddy,
Lee, Chavez counties are flooded. We have water standing from the house to
as far as we can see.

I use Coyote tail hair, and body hair for streamers. You can also use the
underfur for dubbing. I just recently lost a complete skin/hide to bugs. I
had used some of it already. Cost $30 for the thing. I'll have to get
another one this year. $30 is the going rate for an entire Coyote 
skin/hide.
There's plenty of them to be had around here each year. mark....
