There used to be a place in Dallas, off Forest Lane and North Central Expressway - made the best fried catfish - man that tastes good just to remember it.

I might have to take exception to that quote.  I like catfish.

Subject: [VFB] QUOTE FOR THE DAY

Catfish are socially unacceptable!  Your basic trout angler stands in a glossy-magazine river idyll, sporting a military mustache, clothes by Ralph Lauren, vest by Orvis.  His cat-fishing counterpart is a gap-toothed yokel in stained coveralls with a check full of Red Man and a caterpillar cap, hoisting a slimy monster with all the presence of a feed sack full of bowling balls.  If his picture appears at all, its a grainy photo in the back pages of a Texas weekly.  As one salmonoid snob said to me, Ugly water, ugly fish, and not very beautiful people.
