Hi everyone,
I have tied a "double zonker minnow" like that, using two zonker strips and
puncturing the bottom one (hide side) with the hook barb so that it wraps neatly, then
gluing the two strips hide-side together after the bend in the hook. For the body, I
palmer-wrapped the thread THROUGH the hair, not over it (ie matuka style). The head
was either a beadhead or spun deer-hair (I forget), but I think the general "look n'
feel" of the body itself was similar. Is this what you meant? I can try to take a
scanned graphic and send it, or I can just send a fly (need snail-mail offlist) if
you'd like.
Hope that helps and tight wraps,
Pete

>Just wondering if someone has done this before?
