Easiest way to make mixed dubbing is with two wire kitty brushes that you
get in Wal-Mart. Put the cut up pieces of yarn, 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2
inches..don't make them all the same size, and rub one wire brush against
the other like wool cards. What a mess to try and do it with water..it felts
the dubbing and makes it difficult to dub and many times looses its
fluffiness. I gave up that nasty mess long ago in favor of the very
excellent dubbing that can be made with the kitty brushes. When you are
ready for a step up, for 15.00 you can get a nice coffee grinder at the same
store and it will last forever. Good luck..I make all dubbing and like my
blends far better than commercial ones. Joyce
