How many times do you let it spin counterclockwise?
I may be doing it to many times and when I try to go closckwide stuff falls out.

Rick, i reccomend that you get the new Don Bastion DVD for an accurate
depiction/explantion of what spinning thread to flatten it is really all
about. As far as spinning it clockwise to twist/retwist it, you need to make
those spins, quick, and tight. It's not a slow drawnout process. It's fast
and accurate. Bastion even spins his thread (counterclockwise to flatten)
before he finishes his heads. Does all his heads with flat thread. And he
even does it, (with the thread), IN the whip finishing toll. Great
technique(s), well worth the price of the video alone. mark.....
