I had a light sprinkle of pop corn like snow yesterday, early morning. Was
gone by 9 AM as it warmed up to about 40. The warmth triggered something in
my brain that said "self, we could be on the water in 15 minutes". I get
these messages from fish inviting me to play at the oddest times.
Before and after chores I spent some time at the vise playing, tying more
flys for Christmas. These were all specials that will go into the fly boxes
of my fly fishing family's as we get together out on top of the Mountian at
Liz & Fuzzys for our gift exchange and family get together. Completed the
last one about 10 PM.
No snow on the ground here, about 20 with no wind. Lights are on long
cycle out in the barns, for the "Special breeding season" that will have me
collecting eggs and setting as of 1 January, 2005.
Wishing all of my friends from VFB a Merry Christmas and a Safe and Happy
Holliday Season.
Looking foreword to seeing many of you downstream this next year.
Denny
