Well DonO, It should make Buggs happy to know one of the nymphs I was using
in the 2-fly rig was a "carrot nymph" - a pattern that's been very effective
for me on that river in fall and early winter. I'd be happy to send him
some if he would like.

It's called an Elmer Fudd pattern, putting a hook in your strike indicator
to catch those wascally fishies.
BTW, the color should be carrot-orange.
