Looking at the posts on this, I gather that most of you would have narrowed it down a bit. Since I already have what was listed boxed up for him, I think I will leave it at that. These flies will and do catch trout and gills in the areas he will be fishing, I sish the same areas and this is a simular set up to what I started out with.
    Thank you everyone for your input and help. I am sure that Brian (The Kid) will become a valuable asset.
    Now if I can get him into tying......
