if you are going to plough thruogh em, take shears and collect the tail feathers especially any white tipped tail feathers for salmon flies.

beats getting hurt over it...i did the same thing on the way back home this
morning and it was only 2 of them. My CD player hit the floor...plow thru 'em
and pick the feathers outta the grill when you get home!!
