The boxes come with a piece of cotton in them. I put moth balls behind the
cotton. You can also sprinkle the moth crystals in there and then I lay the
flies on top of the cotton. The cotton holds them against the glass and
they don't move. The box lets light in so if you don't store it in a closet
you should be alright with moths. A lot of the moth infestations I've seen
are in flies that have been in a drawer or closet where it is dark. The
flies I have in these boxes are full dressed salmon flies I haven't had time
to frame or flies I purchased from well known tyers that I like to look at.
I keep a copy of their business cards signed behind the cotton also.
It keeps them safe until I can get around to displaying them in a frame or a
glass topped table.
Regards,
Deb

Deb - how do you mount the flies within the box itself so that they
stay in the position you want?
