Thats a very good question, and a valid point. If the bas see the frog from the bottom, then that is all they are seeing. I belive that an all whte/off yellow would fish just as well. I think that the coloration is more for the fisherman. He looks at it,"Looks like a frog to me, so the bass must see it as a frog as well." I think it is a confidance thing.
