Have a good friend who is going to fish Roaring Fork, Blue, Frying Pan and many more waters this summer with stops in Aspen and Vail to play toursist for his family.  He has asked a number of shops for "hatch" info and what flys he should tie for his trip in late June through July.  He told me no shops have been helpful or provided any info.  I said my buddies here would do better than the shops he spoke with.

While I know some patterns which were productive for me the last time out, many of you are much more in the know of where to get such info and I'd like to get this fellow to join the list.  He's a good sort with a heart of gold as he took us in one day in the mountains when a thunderstorm prevented us from pitching camp.  We've been friends ever since.

Now Dan's a very good tyer and even a better catcher.  He studied under the eyes of George Harvey's close friend Fred Reese years back.  I'd like to help him have an enjoyable trip.  Anyone have some ideas?

Thanks!

Murf
