You had to either bring your book to Tom at a conclave to get it signed, or drop by is trailer and buy the book directly from him to get it signed. when Allan Fish came through Lake Charles and I met him for the first time, we went out to dinner, and then dropped by Tom's trailer and both purchased books that Tom was nice enough to sign. He also gave allan a couple of .56%ers which he had tied (one of which allan was nice enought to give me). Tom put most of us tiers to shame...his tying room was pristine, neatest I've ever seen....must have been something about being an engineer...
