Now, I'm not looking for the GPS coordinates of your secret holes.
Wouldn't dream of it, would even let you blindfold me on the way there.
I've been in the area a couple of times, and will be back up there in
mid-August taking my son back to Colorado State. We plan to set him up
in his apartment, disappear for a couple of days, check in on him for
whatever he needs, and then disappear for a couple of more days. We're
looking for suggestions on a camping ground, preferably drive in but off
the main road. We'd prefer high country and a little remote, and maybe
a small lake. I've driven about halfway up the Poudre and think I can
find plenty of places to fish, but wife wants to hike instead. So if we
can stay somewhere pretty, and hike in a ways, she'll bring a book
whilst I loiter in or near the water. Would appreciate any suggestions
and directions you might give.
thanks in advance
Jack
