If this is regarding the "Can it be categorized as a fly" discussion, take a look at the free sample set I got with Fly-Fishing And Fly-Tying Magazine. I tied up a "fly" with one of them when I was tying at the fair the other day.

Has anyone used the realistic soft plastic artificals on a fly rod? If you want you can respond off list, just in case you want to keep your "fly only" image intact(VBG)

Several fellows in our club tie up mini-gurglers with a Mister Twister grub tail and swear by them.

Or at them?
