I think this has been mentioned, You have to brush out the under fur if
there is any. I use a mustache comb. An old toothbrush works well too.

only barely enough to tie in a tail, and I'd still have a cpl wild hairs
that stick way out.. I just pull those out, but still if I paid for a hair
stacker and have to straighten the hair by hand, might as well not use the
stacker.. Could it be the brand of the stacker or something??? It is slick
black aluminum with a funnel shaped top..I was actually banging it on the
table with the soft hairs... Works Fine for Elk etc, that is stiff..and
straight, but soft and the least bit of curl in it, just cannot get it down
pat... Thanks, Chuck

How much hair are you putting in the stacker. The hair has to have room
to shift.

Folks: I am having really bad problems with my hair stacker when using
any hair finer than, say Elk hair... I tap it repeatedly on the table,
and like my DVD said.. I put a little baby powder on the hair stacker
sides and even on the hair, but I still get uneven ends on hair that
is not stiff... Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, Thanks
in advance, Chuck
