Folks: When tying in the hackle and the chenille at the back of a wooly
bugger, do ya'll tie them in at 180 degrees apart from each other???? Tie them
in at the same spot??? if so, top of the shank?? side?? bottom????.. Also, do
you wrap one farther to the front (or back) than the other so it might wrap the
hackle in with the chenille spirals right????? Thanks in advance.....Also... I
thought about an exacto knife and will try that, but anyway, different
question.. When you tie off a hackle quill, and a tiny length of that quill
sticks out past the thread wraps, and the fish don't mind, cause I'm just
talking 1/32th inch or 1/64th an inch of quill here, but to make the fly
look "perfect".. and to clip that tiny amt (WITHOUT cutting into the
thread), what is the best thing to clip that tiny quill with???? Thanks again,
Chuck
That's a LOT of questions for one question huh????
