Anybody have some good "go too" flies for Bluegill fishing in the fall???? We had rain off Hurricane Stan, then a cold front came through  yesterday evening, and it got down in the low 50's last night..Anyway, we just walked in the door from our favorite bank fishing ;lake, and where you normally see thousands of small bream near the bank, there was hardly any,so I guess sine the water cooled, they headed deeper.I tried mostly the chili pepper, and a "Hot Pink" fly I tie.. Don't know what it's called, cause I didn't find it in a book, or online... Just take about a #10 hook, make a tail from some goat hair I have.. Body is hot pink chenille, hackle is black pretty big wet fly hackle. and then I put a tiny yellow plastic craft bead for a head.. Have had GREAT success with this "Hot Pink Panfish Popper" is what I call it LOL...I also tried a "Marv's Magic, an olive Wooly Bugger with a LOT of lead wrap on it.. and a "Black widow spider" I tie with black thread, a red bead in the middle, and a double hackle, one in front of the bead, one behind it.. But today, I caught one little green sunfish, and my wife caught about 4.. (yeah She whooped me today LOL)... She met me and the boys there after work, and I told her she better be glad she had her car, cause anybody who outfishes me has to walk home LOL ..J/K I know who is the BOSS at my house.. After 22 years of marriage, she let ME wear the pants of the family, and I put them on backwards LOL...Anyway, being my first full fall season of fly fishing, was wondering is there are any sure fire bluegill or other panfish flies to use.. Thanks in advance
