I had to go on Monday up to do my tubefly presentation for the New England Fly Tyers not far from Keene. I hadn't been watching the news so I wasn't aware of the flooding. It was pooring rain that night and the roads were flooded on the way up. I hydroplaned once in the Jeep but made it through alright. I called my husband and told him I may be staying for the night but I was able to make it back that night. I didn't find out until Tuesday just how bad it was up there. I'm thankful for that although I probably wouldn't have made the trip if I had known. We made it through the whole week of pouring here until today. The basement flooded. I luckily caught it shortly after it started coming in but it had made it's way all the way across the basement and the carpet had soaked up a lot of it. It got the computer we had down there. I still don't know if it's a loss yet or not. All my fly tying stuff is up on utility shelves so nothing was lost there. We spent the day wet vacuuming out the basement and we have to keep checking it periodically. It sounds like we did pretty well though compared to many others. Deb
