[VFB] re: acetate reaction

Henk, I've been tying some Moser flies, wherein the body is wrapped with 
acetate floss and you touch it with acetone to get the chemical reaction 
thus making the body. I am wondering, just exactly what is happening , in 
simple terms, that causes this effect? Inquiring minds want to know. Joyce
