Hoy Ian: DonO had
me on the same trek. I thought that maybe one would float out of the rock wall
down at St. Kilda beach(where quite a few live) or maybe a taxidermist. Still
have some to cover….these strange Americans!! -----Original
Message----- Penguins live in burrows, and the
rookeries nearby tend to be well observed by tourists et al. They are alos a
protected species... I gave up on my mission to find penguin
feathers for Buggs.. Zoos, DNRE et al were not very impressed or helpful.. I figured it would be possible catch one
at a well known tourist spot where they come marching up the beach each night..
but the thought of my pictue on the front of the paper was a bit of a worry
:-)= cheers Ian |
