Hey all, I'm going to ATTEMPT to tie up the "White Winged Akroyd" for the "Classic Spey Fly Swap" and I was wondering if a Tiemco 7989 size #6 would be too small, or should I go with a Tiemco 765TC #6 streamer hook??... The recipe in Bob Veverka's book "Spey Flies - How to Tie Them" was originated in 1878 by Mr. Charles Akroyd and included in George Kelson's 1895 book "The Salmon Fly"... It calls for a Size 2/0 blind-eye antique long Dee - Phillips... I have no idea what-so-ever where I can find that hook, can someone help me please??
