Hey Murf,

Good to see ya buddy.  I haven’t been out in a month or more.  :-(  DO call me if you guys are headed up that way!

I was referring to Sepp Fuchs who I understand has been working on fused loops, but I don’t have any details to offer.

Dragged into the leader debate already?  Okay, here’s my .02….

IMHO, furled leaders have two issues which have sent me back to mono.  One, they turn over too well!  I sometimes have trouble getting the amount of slack I want into the terminal section of my leader, especially when fishing small flies.  Two, I don’t like them for nymphing.   I tend to change fishing styles as I change water along a stream, and like the flexibility that a mono leader offers me.

Like I said, it’s just my 2 cents… you’re mileage may vary.

Richard

Welcome back friend.  Are you referring to Sepps Fuchs?  Is he the one who came up with this?  Is there a picture or link?

dances, I believe this thread started with a discusion on furled leaders.  What's your opinion on them?  I'm ready to try them again but forget why I didn't stick with them after Claude initiated me.

BTW Richard, Oby & I cancelled steelies this month when the weather turned or we would have invited you and Corey.  Been fishing?
