I think you will do well with the Adams. Try making some of them with a light olive body..known as OBA, and see if they don't work well for you. Also try making them with wings of Phentex or Aung Lydia's yarn. They are lots easier to tie and the fish don't care whether they have hackle wings or not. If you are a purist, you can stripe the wings of yarn with a black marker.  Joyce
