A couple of diferent rod weights, flies, hat sunglasses, mosguito
repellent, sunblock, water, lunch and extra food (being diabetic, I've
got ot be prepared if the blood sugar gets too low), water. And
last but certainly not least, a pretty well stocked first aid
kit. down here in the gulf, if you get a cut, you need to treat
it immediately. Most people stock a bit of diluted bleach and
some peroxide, waterproof spray on type bandages and then regualr types
of treatments. Big problem down here is a bug known as Vibrio
vulnificans in saltwater. Infections are rare, but extremely
serious and can quikcly cause death within a day (or loss of a
limb). Much bigger problem in the summer months. A good
first aid kit is a good idea anyway.
