Sorry Jimmy, I accepted another cap this year in some fancy name for pink as my wife has been wearing a lower quality "Colorado" cap which is just not feminine enough for her.  So while she walks by looking like the gorgeous gal she is, the guys might catch a peripheral glance of the Virtual Fly Box logo and hopefully come onboard.

Byard doesn't need charity, just support from the list with a kind word about LE once in a while.  Besides, I think I give LE a fair amount of business for a hobby tyer most years which makes me feel like I make a contribution.  I don't feel guilty at all taking a cap or discount card.  The caps are already purchased and the discount means I'll be back to buy more.

BTW, you interupted my LE order when your post came through.  Trying to get my hook inventory taken care of before Sowbug.  Who knows what I'll be asked to tie!

Byard has my mastercard on file for my Lines End orders and also when I call to re-new my annual dues each year. ÊFor the last two years I've asked Byard not to send me a VFB cap or a gift certificate. ÊI have more VFB caps than I know what to do with, and besides, it saves Byard $15 by not sending either to me. Ê If you Êneed another VFB cap, fine, but if not, tell Byard to keep it. That'll make both of you feel good. Ê

Thanks Rick.

IÊheard that fewer participants have been buying memberships this year than last.Ê While nobody is twisting arms or begging, the VFB is not a cheap site to maintain both financially and time-wise.Ê I know Byard loves the VFB and it would be his last posession to ever give up but, between you and me, he isn't a rich man financially but is rich with friends, his love of fly tying/fly fishing and enjoys every opportunity to get together with fellow VFBers.Ê Now's a great time to go toÊhttp://virtualflybox.com/members/index.phpÊand sign up!
