Nick: That is horrible.. About the foot and the man found dead.... Do you
know if they found any family the guy may have???? I hope your foot gets
better, and that they give the guy at least a decent burial....Sounds like God
may have kept him alive just long enough to help you!!!!!!!.... Teaches

The story I told this
weekend about spraining my foot and the Easter samaritan who helped
me, yesterday at the hospital got upgraded to a story
about FRACTURING my foot. So I
finally decided to let it be a police matter and I was at the police station
today. He took my statement and I mentioned the man who helped me and the
fact that he probably was the only guy who MIGHT have seen me being pushed.
The only info I had was 'an old homeless guy with a cane and a mustache,
but I have no name for him' and I immediately got the question: "Did he have a
Danish accent?" They knew who he was... and they had found him dead on the
Saturday.
Today we are all saying prayers for Murf
and his family. He was a dear friend of ours who have given us all a
lot.
I'd like you to send a little
prayer in this man's direction too. He fought like it had been his mission in life to
help a good friend of you. I got very sad when the police told me
about this... and it was NOT because he might have been the only
witness.
I'm very glad that I didn't give up when
he wouldn't take money for a few days food. At least now he maybe didn't have
to die hungry.
