Don
The in thing now is to renovate a retired tug boat into floating house.
It's a pretty neat idea! They're tough little boats.
It's so rainy up here. I was hoping to go fishing tonight with Daphne but I
may just wind up spending time helping her identify the flies she received.
She's very excited! This is her last week of school and then she has the
whole summer to fish. Her dad got so many flies for her he decided not to
hold them all until her birthday. I think that would've been torture on her
to give them to her right before she has to return to school.
The boys are off camping with the boy scouts in the rain tonight. I may
still sneak off fishing later!! I'm going to tie up some flies now. I
finally landed my first striper on my own so now I've got the fever in a bad
way!
Thank you so much for remembering Daphne. She got the neatest package this
week from one of the VFB guys with a TU label in Penn. Her dad sent me some
pictures of it. He blacked out his name but he really sent some neat
flies!!! I haven't seen most of the other packages but I could identify
many of them over the phone from the addresses and style of flies they sent.

I'm starting to get phone calls from Daphne every few days now. She is so
excited!!!! She loved the English flies! Big hit!!! She had never seen the
buzzers or booby flies. She had just read one of my English magazines on
Czech style nymphs before she received one of the packages from England.
That style of tying really caught her attention! They look easy to tie and
very fishable!
Warm Regards,
Deb

Deb, my box to Daphne got off late (sat on my desk forgotten about for a
week or so). It's in the mail now. Now don't be robbin' her of her VFB
flies. :o) thbbbbbbbbt!

That's my dream retirement- to live on a house boat or yacht. Buggs gets
seasick, but he don't know I'm just going to use him for shark-bait anyway.
