Has
anyone tried Marc Petitjean's 'Round Magic Heads' yet?  I got a
catalog
from Hareline Dubbing and they are featured in there.  Don't
know if there's
been any articles on them
yet.

I shouldn't be real critical of people who "tie" with them.  Like any
new material I picked up two packs one large, small to play with.  I tied a
fly with one, and I didn't like how it looked with the cup facing forward, and
when I folded the cup back to make a head I didn't like that look either.
I figure I can make a better one with epoxy or silicone.  As someone
mentioned I had two packs of expensive material, what was I going to do with
it.  With a little bit of thought I discovered that by sliding the Magic
Head back on the shank so the hook eye was outside the mouth and fiddled
with some E-Z body tubing and other secret ingredients. I found I could make one
nasty popper, that burbled nicely when moved with short strips, and if you
stripped real hard it would ring the dinner bell in the immediate
neighborhood.  So that's what I did with my Magic Heads though I still have
a couple left on my desk.

As far as wiggle goes, the wiggle bugs in the second group of
"flies" make the Magic head fly look like its swimming in a straight line.
