Here we go again.  I put out a perfectly serious post about parabolic rods and you Yae Hoos turn it into your personal Comedy Store.  If it's jokes you want to send me, why not join the JFTD, ( joke for the day) club.   Otherwise, put a muzzle on your alter egos.   However, with this being a LONG hot summer, even in the great northwest, I'll forgive you for being a little goofy.   :-) :-( ;-) :-P :-D :-\

We are talking about parachute flies, Buggs invented them 25 years ago while visiting Verionica and her sister Rico in Baja.
Parachute flies are used to drop heavy flies just into the mouth of a dorado!

"It takes a while to get used to a parabolic rod.  They'll also throw
more line than a regular fly rod. A parabolic will definitely make you a
better caster, for to cast one properly, you have to slow your casting
stroke down. This in itself will improve your casting."
