I find that the list stale mates this time of year because just like everything else people are really extremely busy until winter sets in. We are just starting to hit the end of the summer lul. I started on this list 2 or 3 years ago looking for answers to fishing for carp. My questions were answered and I was truely thankful for those answer.(side note: I still couldnt catch those damn things, I almost broke my leg trying to sneak over the pond dam on them one afternoon and had to miss work for 3 days with a swollen ankle.) We have lost a few key members in our game and I think that has had an effect on a lot of people. Murph comes to my mind, how would a young and tying kid from the foothills in Arkansas get to meet people like Murph, Tony, Jayhawk Jeff, Jimmy D, and DonO other than a list like this. Thanks for the list Byard and thanks to all you "old" guys for the help. Sorry Veronica, I know you aren't that old.

I hope this will not offend anyone especially the
friends I have made on this list. I have thought
several times of unsubscribing but I was afraid of
loosing contact with most of you. I have personally
met a good number of you people and have not found any
that I disliked. There are some more of you I want to
meet in person. If it were not for this list, we would
not have some of the best flytyers at the Sowbug
Roundup Show. Yes, we are a family and I feel I am
part of it. Maybe it is just me getting to be an old
toot over the years but at times I just get bored with
the list and wish we could go back to the old days.
We have lost a good number of regulars, not sure what
the reason is,I think we have become a bit stale.
I will stay with the list as long as it is around, I
still need to keep in touch with you all.
