Mike, there are few good books about streamer fishing. Streamers and
Bucktails by Bates is the classic; it's about 30/70 tactics and flies.
Available in several editions you should be able to pick one up on the
cheap.
I wasn't impressed by Modern Streamers for Trophy Trout as the tactics
section is but a few pages long.
I'll also suggest signing on to the streamers list at Yahoo. Beyond
asking for specific help, the archives my produce some useful
information. Even if you sign on just to ask the question about books,
you're likely to get a bunch more suggestions.
