Mike, there are few good books about streamer fishing. Streamers and Bucktails by Bates is the classic; it's about 30/70 tactics and flies. Available in several editions you should be able to pick one up on the cheap. I wasn't impressed by Modern Streamers for Trophy Trout as the tactics section is but a few pages long. I'll also suggest signing on to the streamers list at Yahoo. Beyond asking for specific help, the archives my produce some useful information.
