I'm not sure if this is quite what you are looking for, but thought i'd offer it anyhow - there is a program freely downloadable called "Leader Calc" . If I recall correctly, it was made by Schweitzer and is available on the globalflyfisher.com website... just opened the program, and yup - globalflyfisher.com . I have the program, but not a link... Of note is that there are multiple "sheets" in the spreadsheet file, tabbed at the bottom of the excel window per the norm, which include everything from strength- test charts for mono to a leader calculator for tying your own leaders, and even label generators for what leaders you do tie. Great lil' program, but I'm not sure if it includes all you are searching for. There is a chart at http://killroys.com/charts/tippet.htm that may offer what you need...? I'm not sure if this will help, but thought I'd offer them anyhow. Tight wraps, Pete

Is there, or does anyone have, a card or chart for what the largest tippet that will usually fit into the eye of a fly hook? I know this sounds a bit strange, or even stupid, but I am going to be getting some new tippet and want to make sure that I get the strongest I can to fit into a #18, or #20, or even down to a #24. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks, Jimi
