Wind was blowing hard all weekend long, making it tough to cast and mend with a 5wt. On top of that, our camping buddy got a little case of food poisoning Friday night and was pretty much down all day Saturday. We sat around Saturday waiting for him to get feeling better and for the wind to die down. and waited... and waited...
We did get out for a few hours Saturday afternoon (between wind gusts), but had few good runs to fish, as most of them had at least one fisherman standing in them. We did find a decent one, and I got a few hits on a Chili-pepper and a BMB Mohair leech, but that was all. My friend didn't even get a hit. The wind made it really difficult to make a good presentation. Had a great time anyway, camping out and atv'n in such beautiful surroundings. If someone wants to see a photo taken from our campsite, let me know and I'll send it off list. Will be sending brasses to those who requested them.
