That's what I was wondering Jerry, which body you were glueing together. I have a bunch in white in both small and large. The Clouser Floating Minnow uses the same body, but is glued in vertically as opposed to the horizontal you are using for your poppers. I need to tied a bunch up as the small version is supposed to be killer on panfish too. No need to take a top picture of your orange popper now bud. How's the fishing on your end of the state? Garry Garry: It is the same body Clouser uses for his floating minnow. I used the white body, The color is done with permanent marker. By the time you read this I'll have already posted a picture. I got out the last two weekends for a couple of hours. I'm testing all the fly rod lures I "tied" up over the winter. They do what I hope they would do about 85% of the time. Which is act like their hard body counterparts. Picked up two little smallies, 8 and 10 inches, and a couple of nice bluegills a bit over 7 inches on them. I'm a snob and unless I see trout rising, I don't fish for them this time of year. Top water for bass and sunfish is starting to heat up. So I'll be trying to get out at least one day a weekend from now on.
