I have never used the fas-snaps because they seem to me to be way too big. They would present a very distorted image of a mayfly to a fish, and also bring a weight/floatation issue to dry fly fishing. However, I do use the no-knot eyelet inserted into the end of my fly line, to connect line to leader. Some on the list don't care for these, but I have used them for years, and have never had one fail. I like them.

If so, do they work well??? These are made of spring steel, and I could certainly see where they would save a ton of money on tapered leaders and/or tippet material, IF they in fact, DO work??? Thanks for any info, Chuck
