Larry: The size I got are not.. man, I tied one on and it took me ten
minutes to tie it on cause it was soo small (but they had small, med and
large). That's why I got the small though.. I never did like to use big ol
swivels when i fished spinning reels cause they were too big.But the size I
got are tiny. I tugged on it pretty tight and the hook part did NOT bend, or
even open up enough to loose the fly (I think LOL) Chuck

Subject: Re: [VFB] No Knot Fas-Snaps
I have never used the fas-snaps because they seem to me to be way too
big. They would present a very distorted image of a mayfly to a fish,
and also bring a weight/floatation issue to dry fly fishing. However, I
do use the no-knot eyelet inserted into the end of my fly line, to
connect line to leader. Some on the list don't care for these, but I
have used them for years, and have never had one fail. I like them.

Folks: I bought some "no knot fas-snaps" yesterday, and was wondering
if anybody uses these ??? If so, do they work well??? These are made of
spring steel, and I could certainly see where they would save a ton of
money on tapered leaders and/or tippet material, IF they in fact, DO
work??? Thanks for any info, Chuck
