I went to Australia in April and just put my flies Clousers mainly in my
suitcase, with no problems.
You would not be allowed to carry them in your hand luggage though.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried to carry-on flies on a flight recently?
I know the safeset way is to check them, but thought I'd see if there were
any recent experiences with TSA and flies.
If you've tried or done it, how big were the hooks, how many flies were
there and what happened?
