Rene The camera Allan is referring to is the same camera Splinta and I had on the cape when you were there. It does have a macro on it for taking pictures of flies. I've used it at fly shows but at home I use my Nikon 995. You can put the camera under water to take pictures of the fish. I'd recommend it for your fishing camera. Regards, Deb

I have basically similar plans. The new digital is not primary for fishing, but for traveling, for flies (It has macro and super macro capabilities). I plan to purchase a second digicam samehow later, for fishing and outdoor. This will be a very low prices thing, small, fits into fishing vest etc. Maybe waterproof. But now I'm looking for a bigger one with more pfotographic capabilities. Thanks Rene Allan Fish wrote: >> Hey Rene, >> Try looking at the Pentax Optio, > > > Be sure it's the Pentax Optio WP.
