Peggy: It might depend on where you fish.... Get in touch with Karl Barton, a former VFB list member. We had dinner with him and his wife, Marcia, Allan and Martha Fish, and Joyce Westphal last week in Provo. He has been going to Alaska for several summers, and has lots of stories.

The deal is ABC RV & Auto Rental out of Anchorage, every October they have a special for set dates for the following year, the shoulder season, no July for 1/2 price deal and it's unlimited mileage. At the same time Alaska Airlines has a sale on flights for about the same time period, or orbitz.com has some nice pricing as well. So for $2500 this family and a couple of friends are heading west for 2 weeks to fish. What should we bring for flies, and has anyone been up there or from there? Peggy B
