If I am the "tyer you know", then I must add that I can still recommend the Junior with a good consciousness. It was a fault in the jaws mechanism that caused my introduction "misery", but I have no complaints on the rest of the vise. Even Volvo has had to recall products recently. Noone can be 100% all the time. I didn't ask Karen if I could trade it for a full-size. She talked me into it. I do like it better, that's true, but if the Junior jaws had worked perfectamundo from the start, I would still have been sitting with that one and most certainly without regrets.
