I'm soooo confused LOL.. Nick says it gets in the way.. Now you say it don't
... I just GOTTA break down and drive over to the big city of Atlanta and try
these vises for myself..Part of this could be that if a tier is left handed or
right handed etc as to whether it would bother one person and not bother
somebody else. Things like that. Thanks for the info, Chuck

I've had one of these vises for a year or two now, and have not had any
trouble with the arm getting in the way of your tying. The arm is only about
3/4 the length of the jaws so it stays pretty much out of the way when tying.

Folks: Most of you know that I want to get a better vise... So, I have been
looking at all of them..I have a question about the Griffin Montana Mongoose
(NOT that this is the one I want,I saw something in this one and a cpl others
that I cannot recall right at the moment that I have a question about).I saw a
photo of one at Lines End. Question is, does that lever(the lever that tightens
the Jaws) not get right in your way??? Or does the lever move side to side????
Thanks, Chuck
