My buddy Greag Scratchley tyed me up a bunch of Furled Leaders before.
They are nice indeed, and whenever I finally do get around to building
my own board, yeah I doubt I will ever go back for cost reasons alone.
You can make them clear if you want to with 'invisible' sewing thread,
what he uses.

Subject: [VFB] Furled vs. Mono

Ok, sometime back I asked about furled leaders on the list and some
gracious list members supplied me with nearly a life time supply of
furled leader. I have been switching back and forth between furled and
mono since and have yet to decide on a clear winner (mono pun intended).
The biggest benefit that I see with furled is lack of memory, but the
braided style gives me a mental block when if comes to drag, probably
unfounded but I just get it in my head that the currents will have more
of an effect on it than mono. I don't get heartburn over it having
color or not being clear, I like that better than shiny mono. But I
have heard many try furled and will never go back, I could use either
just wondering what others see that they like so much better?
