Pete: Thanks.. I had been doing it like a combo of the 2nd and 3rd pic. I had been trimming the barbs real short to give myself a tighter tie in, but then I had stripped ALL the barbs off one side because it was so hard for me to fold the feather sides in together. I'm gonna keep trying to fold it over though, cause the "strip one side" method does take more wraps to make it the same fullness, thus wasting feathers..Chuck
