Hi,

Im a student working on my thesis project and i want to build a path
following robot (remote controlled car with webcam on it). And i need to
analyse some images obtained from the camera. I will be using a P4 1.6
laptop for the project, currently running Redhat 8.0 an soon with a RT
kernel patch.

HOw do i get sarted? How can i access the pics, moovie generated by the
camra, where do i begin. Are there any tutorials available. I would be
delighted if you can show me the light.


And is V4L compatible with rt linux?
