I checked out you video and I can double the quality and halve the
file size. Here's how you do it:
1. Export a DV AVI file from Premiere (this is a full DV resolution
file - exact copy of your edited project)
2. Open that file with Avid Free DV or QuickTime Pro
3. Export using these settings:
Video Codec: MPEG-4 video
Keyframe every 5 frames
Quality Best
Limit Data Rate to 600kbits/sec (75Kbytes/sec)
4. Set the size to custom - 320 X 240 pixels
The audio setup is different for QuickTime 6 and 7. Here is QT 6 first:
5. Set the audio codec to MPEG-4 audio
6. Set the Rate to 24.000 kHz
7. Size leave on 16bit
8. Use "mono"
9. Click options then set the bit rate to 32 kbits/sec
10. Click Ok - make sure "Prepare for Internet Streaming" is set to
"Fast Start"
11. Click Ok then Save and you're video will start compressing.
Audio setup in QT 7 (do it in this order or it won't work right):
5. Set the audio codec to AAC
6. Set channels to mono
7. At the bottom set target bit rate to 32
9. Set the Rate to 24.000 kHz
10. Click Ok - make sure "Prepare for Internet Streaming" is set to
"Fast Start"
11. Click Ok then Save and you're video will start compressing.
Let me know how this works out. Your video should end up around 27MB.
